There is no mandatory requirement for PRINCE2 Foundation Certification. It is recommended to have 2 years of project experience to gain maximum benefit.
PRINCE2® Practitioner required PRINCE2 foundation certification as prerequisite.
PRINCE2 Foundation is life time and requires no renewal. As PRINCE2® Practitioner certified professional, you need to renew the certification once in 5 years by giving PRINCE2® Practitioner re-test exam.
