While I was in my third year of engineering (Information Science), I stumbled upon the concept of cyber security. The projects were hands-on and really helped me master various tools. During the internship phase, I explored advanced hacking tools and deepened my knowledge even more. It felt like a real-world experience.

Yes, I faced multiple rejections. The key learning was that communication skills are as important as technical knowledge. I realized I wasn’t explaining my thoughts clearly during interviews. So I practiced a lot, especially speaking in front of a mirror, to improve.

By then, I had practiced both technical and communication skills. The interview had four rounds: a telephonic call, two technical rounds, and an HR round, all conducted online. They tested my resume-based skills and scenario-based problem-solving. I was much more confident by then. 

Q13: Is the daily learning curve very intense?

Not really. It’s manageable if you stay consistent. I spent two hours after class each day, and that made a big difference. You don’t need to study for 8 hours, just focused, regular effort.
